The Certified Alarm Technician Level 1 Course is a 22-hour course required for licensure in South Carolina. This 22-hour course provides the knowledge necessary to perform entry-level responsibilities within the many facets of the electronic life safety and security industry. This fundamental and essential course is required by dozens of states, local licensing authorities and regulators as a prerequisite for performing security integration work. The cost for this class is $300/person (members) and $500/person (non-members) and the cost includes the NTS Level I e-book and examination.
